The Lunar Runes were discovered in 2024. While all factions of Bitcoinia drew wealth, and thereby power, from their own rune deposits, they nevertheless believed the Lunar Runes would bring even more wealth and power.

The Lunar Runes are only a historical artifact left over from the Runic Wars. The people of Bitcoinia were unfortunately deceived, for the Lunar Runes had no real power, and there was no team then or now that supports any utility or function or promotion of the Lunar Runes. 

Any quest to mine or acquire Lunar Runes should be done with no expectation of wealth or profit, as all runes, even the Lunar Runes, are inherently extremely volatile and could well end up with no value whatsoever. Only acquire Lunar Runes if you like the Lunar Runes, and are comfortable with holding an inherently volatile and worthless meme of historical fiction.
